At Elgin Community College, we are offering three types of classes this spring semester for your safety and your convenience. Online asynchronous classes means you take classes online when the timing is right for you, which allows you to fit school into your schedule. Online synchronous classes means you take classes at a set time on your computer with your instructor and other students. And hybrid classes combine both online and in-person instruction, which means you receive hands-on training with the flexibility to learn from anywhere.
